Abstract

Industri perhotelan di Surabaya menghadapi tingkat persaingan yang semakin ketat sehingga peningkatan produktivitas tenaga penjualan menjadi prioritas utama dalam menjaga daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan pengalaman kerja terhadap produktivitas sales hotel. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan responden sebanyak 40 tenaga penjualan dari hotel berbintang, dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap produktivitas (t = 3.217; p = 0.003) dan pengalaman kerja juga berpengaruh positif signifikan (t = 2.865; p = 0.008). Secara simultan, kompetensi dan pengalaman kerja memberikan kontribusi sebesar 71,2% terhadap variasi produktivitas tenaga penjualan (Adjusted R² = 0.712). Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa sinergi antara kompetensi dan pengalaman kerja merupakan faktor determinan yang esensial dalam peningkatan produktivitas sales hotel. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia di sektor perhotelan melalui strategi pelatihan berbasis kompetensi dan pengelolaan pengalaman kerja yang berkesinambungan.
