Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under review elsewhere. All submissions must follow the guidelines below:

A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Manuscripts submitted to Lingkasa must be original, based on research or conceptual frameworks, and written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • The submission must not be previously published or under review elsewhere.

  • Authors must thoroughly proofread their manuscripts before submission.

  • All authors are required to submit a Declaration of Originality Form, which can be downloaded from the journal website and uploaded along with the manuscript.


B. WRITING RULES


1. Length and Formatting

  • Manuscripts should be 4,000–7,000 words in length (excluding references).

  • Use Cambria, font size 11, single-spaced, on A4 paper.

  • Please use the journal template for detailed formatting.


2. Structure of the Manuscript

a. Title

  • Should be clear, informative, and no longer than 14 words.

  • Avoid abbreviations and jargon.

b. Author Information

  • Include full names, affiliations, and active email addresses.

  • We encourage collaborative works and accept up to five authors per manuscript.

  • International collaboration (authors from at least two different countries) is preferred.

c. Abstract

  • Written in English and Bahasa Indonesia (if applicable).

  • Length: 150–250 words.

  • Should summarize the background, objective, method, main findings, and conclusion.

  • Use italic font (10 pt) in Cambria.

d. Keywords

  • Provide 3–5 keywords, arranged alphabetically and separated by semicolons (;).

e. Introduction

  • Clearly present the background and rationale of the study.

  • Include relevant literature and identify the research gap.

  • Conclude with the research objectives and significance of the study.

f. Method

  • Describe research design, participants, instruments, data collection, and analysis techniques.

  • For conceptual papers, clearly explain the theoretical basis and approach.

g. Findings and Discussion

  • Present key findings clearly and concisely.

  • Discuss the implications in relation to previous research.

  • Avoid repeating results and minimize lengthy citations.

h. Conclusion

  • Address the main research objectives and highlight significant findings.

  • Provide practical implications or recommendations for future studies.

  • Avoid repeating the abstract.

i. Acknowledgement (optional)

  • Mention individuals or institutions that supported the research (e.g., funding bodies, collaborators).

j. References

  • Should be comprehensive and current (preferably within the last 10 years).

  • Use APA 7th edition referencing style.

  • At least 80% of sources should be journal articles.

  • A minimum of 15–40 references is recommended.

  • Use a reference manager such as Mendeley or Zotero.
