About the Journal
Lingkasa (Linguistik dan Bahasa – Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris) is an academic journal published by the English Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan), Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Established as a scholarly platform, Lingkasa is committed to promoting academic discourse, research dissemination, and professional development in the fields of English language education, linguistics, and applied language studies.
The journal is published biannually—in June and December—and welcomes submissions from scholars, researchers, educators, and practitioners both in Indonesia and globally. The scope of the journal includes a wide range of topics such as English language teaching and learning, second language acquisition, curriculum design, teaching methodologies, classroom-based research, discourse analysis, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, corpus linguistics, and related areas in applied linguistics.
