Peer Review Process

Lingkasa upholds a rigorous and transparent peer review process to maintain the quality and integrity of the articles published. The steps include:

  • All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure they meet the journal’s scope and formatting guidelines.

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to two anonymous reviewers using a double-blind peer review process (authors and reviewers do not know each other's identities).

  • Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, clarity, methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field.

  • Based on reviewer feedback, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accept

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

    • Reject

  • Authors are notified of the decision and given time to revise their manuscript if needed.

  • Revised manuscripts may be re-reviewed to ensure the quality improvements meet expectations.

  • Once accepted, the manuscript will proceed to the copyediting and proofreading stage before final publication.

The review process usually takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the availability of reviewers and the quality of the submission.
