Publication Ethics

Lingkasa is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved—authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers—must act with integrity and professionalism. The following ethical guidelines are observed:

For Authors

  • Ensure that submitted work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • Properly cite all sources and avoid plagiarism, duplication, or data fabrication/falsification.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest (e.g., funding or affiliations that may influence results).

  • List only those who significantly contributed to the research as co-authors.

  • Promptly correct or retract a paper if a significant error is discovered after publication.

For Editors

  • Treat all manuscripts fairly, objectively, and confidentially—regardless of author background or affiliation.

  • Make publication decisions based solely on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

  • Ensure a double-blind peer review process is properly followed.

  • Take appropriate action in cases of ethical complaints, misconduct, or plagiarism.

For Reviewers

  • Conduct reviews objectively and respectfully, providing clear and constructive feedback.

  • Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript content and not use it for personal advantage.

  • Avoid reviewing manuscripts if there is a conflict of interest with the author or content.

  • Report any suspected ethical breaches to the editor.

For the Publisher

  • Work closely with editors to uphold academic and ethical standards.

  • Support transparency in corrections, retractions, and publishing policies.

  • Ensure digital archiving and long-term access to all published content.
