Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript to Lingkasa (Linguistik dan Bahasa – Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris), please ensure that you have completed the following items:

✅ Manuscript Preparation

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published, and is not under review elsewhere.

  • The manuscript is written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using Cambria, 11 pt, single spacing, and follows the journal template.

  • The length is between 4,000–7,000 words, excluding references.

  • The manuscript follows the required structure:

    • Title

    • Abstract (in English and Bahasa Indonesia)

    • Keywords (3–5, alphabetical order)

    • Introduction

    • Method

    • Results and Discussion

    • Conclusion

    • Acknowledgement (if any)

    • References (APA 7th edition)

✅ Document Checklist

  • Main manuscript file in .doc/.docx format

  • Abstract written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

  • Declaration of Originality form (signed and uploaded)

  • All figures and tables are included and properly labeled

  • References are formatted using APA 7th Edition style

  • At least 15–40 references, with 80% from journal articles published in the last 8 years

  • Use of reference management tools (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) is encouraged

✅ Submission Process

  • Registered and logged in to the Online Journal System (OJS)

  • Completed all metadata fields (title, abstract, keywords, author names, affiliations, etc.)

  • Uploaded all required files and supplementary documents

  • Confirmed that the submission complies with the Lingkasa Author Guidelines

  • Agreed to the Open Access, Publication Ethics, and Plagiarism Policy

Failure to comply with the above checklist may result in your submission being returned for correction or rejected at the initial screening stage.
