Authorship Criteria
Authorship Criteria
Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen recognizes authorship as a matter of academic responsibility, intellectual contribution, and research integrity. Individuals listed as authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study; the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; or the development of the research methodology and intellectual content of the manuscript.
All authors must participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content, approve the final version submitted for publication, and agree to be accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and ethical conduct of the work. Each author should be able to identify their own contribution and take responsibility for ensuring that questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of any part of the research are appropriately addressed.
Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately in the Acknowledgements section, with their consent. Contributions such as administrative support, funding acquisition alone, language editing, or general supervision do not automatically qualify an individual for authorship.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible contributors are included as authors, that the author order has been agreed upon by all authors, and that all authors have approved the manuscript and its submission to Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen. All authors must also confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication in another journal.
Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen does not permit guest authorship, honorary authorship, gift authorship, ghost authorship, or the omission of individuals who have made qualifying scholarly contributions. Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission must be accompanied by a clear justification and written approval from all authors concerned, subject to editorial review.
By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the authorship information accurately reflects their respective contributions and that they comply with the journal's publication ethics and research integrity policies. The journal reserves the right to investigate suspected authorship violations and take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policies and applicable COPE guidance.
