Generation Z, as digital natives, holds significant potential in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, their understanding of the SDGs concept remains limited. The purpose of this community service activity was to disseminate the concept of SDGs to Generation Z in order to enhance their knowledge of sustainable development. The activity was carried out in three main stages: preparation through coordination and development of instruments, implementation through interactive presentations and discussions conducted in a full-day session, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test to measure participants’ knowledge improvement. The method applied was a socialization approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest involving 25 youths aged 18– 25 years in Sungai Pinang Nibung Village, Sungai Pinang Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency. The activity was conducted in one full day with 10 KKN members acting as facilitators through interactive presentations, discussions, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test questionnaires consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions. The results showed a 78% increase in participants’ knowledge of SDGs from the initial condition, with 85% of participants achieving a post- test score of ≥60%. In conclusion, the socialization activity successfully provided Generation Z with adequate fundamental knowledge of the SDGs and their relevance to daily life, thereby serving as a foundation to support the achievement of the 2030 SDGs targets.
