Abstract

Mental rehabilitation centers are a type of integrated treatment for people with mental health issues to help them get back to functioning and being independent. When it comes to healing, the physical environment of the rehab center is a big deal. Comfort factors based on the patient's biological, psychological, and social characteristics will create an environment that helps the patient recover. The primary objective of this study is to analyze patient comfort related to spatial arrangement at the rehabilitation center, referencing the provisions of Ministry of Public Works Regulation No. 29 of 2006 on building comfort. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, with data collected through field observations and interviews. Results of the analysis indicate that, based on patient characteristics and applicable regulations, the mental rehabilitation center under study meets comfort standards for its users.
