Schools, as educational institutions, play a strategic role in integrating sustainability concepts through building design and serving as a medium for environmental learning. This study aims to examine the application of green architecture principles at Metro Nature School, based on green building criteria relevant to tropical climate conditions. The study employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Primary data were obtained through field observations of the building's physical condition, massing, natural ventilation, natural lighting, material use, and school environmental management. Secondary data were obtained through a literature review on green architecture concepts and sustainable building design. Analysis was conducted by comparing the existing building conditions with green architecture principles. The results show that Metro Nature School implements a passive design strategy through an open building that maximizes cross-ventilation and natural lighting, the use of natural materials such as wood and natural stone, and the integration of ponds and vegetation to enhance thermal comfort. Environmental management is also supported by waste bank facilities and school gardens as a means of environmental education. These findings demonstrate that a bioclimatic design approach can create an energy-efficient and responsive learning environment for tropical climates. Conceptually, this research strengthens the development of the model.
