Konsep Biophilic sudah menjadi tren dalam desain arsitektur, terutama pada gedung pendidikan. Penerapan konsep ini dicoba diterapkan pada desain konseptual gedung Fakultas Hukum Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan kriteria konsep Biophilic menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang terdiri dari area hijau dan elemen alam, aliran cahaya dan udara, bahan alami, efek ruang pada pengguna, koneksi dengan alam. Dari desain konseptual ini menjelaskan bahwa konsep Biophilic sangat tepat untuk diterapkan dalam desain bangunan gedung pendidikan serta kontektual terhadap lingkungan. Desain yang dihasilkan mempertimbangkan faktor manusia dan lingkungan yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan pengguna.
