  • Obtain appropriate ethical approval, informed consent, and research permissions when required.
  • Respond responsibly to reviewers' and editors' comments.
  • Disclose the use of artificial intelligence tools in accordance with journal policy.

03. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for maintaining the academic quality, fairness, and integrity of the editorial process. Editors are expected to:

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively based on academic quality, originality, relevance, and scientific contribution.

  • Address allegations of research misconduct fairly and confidentially.
  • Take appropriate action to correct the scholarly record when necessary.

The Editor-in-Chief holds overall responsibility for editorial decisions and may delegate editorial responsibilities to authorized editors.

04. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively, critically, and constructively.
  • Assess originality, methodological rigor, validity of findings, and scholarly contribution.
  • Provide clear and evidence-based comments.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and review materials.
  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
  • Report suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other ethical concerns to the editor.
  • Disclose potential conflicts of interest.
  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.

Reviewers must not use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage or upload confidential manuscripts to public AI systems.

05. Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher supports the editorial team in maintaining publication integrity and sustainable scholarly publishing practices by:

  • Respecting editorial independence.
  • Providing administrative and technical support for journal management.
  • Ensuring that publication fees do not influence editorial decisions.
  • Supporting the handling of publication ethics concerns.
  • Promoting transparent and responsible publishing practices.

06. Originality and Plagiarism

All manuscripts must represent original scholarly work. The journal prohibits:

  • Plagiarism and inappropriate use of another person's work.
  • Self-plagiarism and inappropriate text recycling.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication.
  • Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.
  • Citation manipulation.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to similarity screening. Similarity reports are evaluated by the editorial team based on the nature, context, and extent of textual overlap. Similarity percentages are not used as the sole basis for determining plagiarism.

07. Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal. Previously published or overlapping materials must be appropriately disclosed. The editorial team will assess whether such overlap is acceptable and whether additional acknowledgment is required.

08. Acknowledgement of Sources

Authors must properly cite all ideas, statements, data, findings, and materials obtained from other sources. Direct quotations must be clearly identified. The use of third-party figures, tables, photographs, and other copyrighted materials must comply with applicable permission requirements.

09. Authorship and Contributorship

Authorship must reflect substantial intellectual and scholarly contributions. All listed authors must:

  • Contribute substantially to the conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the research.
  • Participate in drafting or critically revising the manuscript.
  • Approve the final version.
  • Accept accountability for the integrity of the work.

The journal encourages the use of the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to describe individual author contributions transparently. Gift authorship, ghost authorship, and inappropriate authorship manipulation are not permitted.

10. Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose financial, personal, professional, institutional, or other relationships that could influence or be perceived to influence their judgment.

Reviewers with significant conflicts must decline review assignments. Editors with relevant conflicts must refrain from handling the manuscript, which will be reassigned to an independent editor.

A disclosed conflict of interest does not automatically result in rejection. The editorial team will assess and manage such conflicts appropriately.

11. Funding and Acknowledgements

Authors must disclose all sources of financial support, research grants, institutional assistance, and other relevant contributions. If no external funding was received, authors should explicitly state this in the manuscript. Individuals who contributed but do not qualify for authorship may be acknowledged with their permission.

12. Research Ethics and Ethical Oversight

Research must comply with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical standards.

For research involving students, teachers, educational practitioners, communities, or other human participants, authors must ensure appropriate ethical safeguards, including informed consent where required, protection of privacy and confidentiality, and additional safeguards for minors.

Research involving animals must comply with applicable institutional and national animal welfare and research ethics requirements.

Authors must provide information regarding ethical approval, exemption, consent, and research permissions where applicable. The editorial team may request supporting documentation when necessary.

13. Research Misconduct

The journal does not tolerate research misconduct, including:

  • Fabrication of data or research findings.
  • Falsification or inappropriate manipulation of research data.
  • Plagiarism and inappropriate text recycling.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication.
  • Manipulation of authorship or peer review.
  • Undisclosed manipulation of images, figures, or research materials.

Allegations may be submitted by authors, reviewers, editors, readers, or other concerned parties. The editorial team will conduct a preliminary assessment, request clarification and supporting evidence, and contact relevant institutions when necessary. Appropriate actions may include manuscript rejection, correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the findings.

14. Artificial Intelligence Use and Disclosure

Authors may use artificial intelligence tools for appropriate purposes, such as language improvement, grammar checking, and assistance with manuscript preparation. Substantive use of AI in generating or modifying scholarly content, research design, methodology, data analysis, results, or figures must be transparently disclosed in accordance with the journal's AI Use and Disclosure Policy.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Human authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content, including AI-assisted material. AI-generated information, references, data, and interpretations must be independently verified.

Editors and reviewers must protect manuscript confidentiality and must not upload unpublished manuscripts or confidential review materials to public AI systems that may compromise confidentiality.

15. Fundamental Errors in Published Works

Authors must notify the editorial office promptly when significant errors or inaccuracies are identified in published articles. The editorial team will assess the nature and impact of the error and determine whether a correction, expression of concern, or retraction is necessary.

16. Complaints and Appeals

The journal welcomes complaints concerning editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, and the conduct of editorial staff.

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written explanation and relevant supporting evidence to the editorial office. Appeals and complaints will be assessed fairly, objectively, and confidentially by the Editor-in-Chief or an independent authorized editor. Individuals directly involved in the matter must not participate in its assessment when a conflict of interest exists.

17. Corrections, Retractions, and Post-Publication Discussions

The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record after publication.

  • Correction: Issued when errors require amendment but do not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions.
  • Expression of Concern: Issued when serious concerns exist but available evidence is insufficient for a final determination.
  • Retraction: Issued when published findings are unreliable due to significant errors, research misconduct, unethical practices, or other serious concerns.

Corrections and retractions will be clearly identified, linked to the original article, and made publicly accessible. The journal also welcomes constructive post-publication discussions that contribute to scholarly debate.
